Conclusion: The purpose of the lab was to determine the spring force constant in a marble launcher. This was successfully completed by launching a uniform marble vertically into the air and recording the altitude and compression necessary to achieve the altitude. From this one can take the gravitational potential energy and solve for the constant through the formula: (2(mgh))/(x^2)=k .
